Blake Business Solutions is a small but ambitious IT company that helps other small businesses and startups get the tech support they need to run smoothly — from managed IT services to help desk support and more. We’re laid back, community-minded, and focused on making IT less intimidating for local businesses.
We're looking for an independent sales contractor to help us grow — especially in Kanawha County and Fayette County, though we serve all of West Virginia. This is a commission-only, part-time role that's ideal for someone who's already doing sales or looking for a side hustle with serious income potential.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Someone charismatic and confident, who enjoys talking to people and knows their way around the local business scene
- Experience in outside sales (especially B2B) is important
- Not afraid to cold call or drop in on a local business to introduce yourself
- Comfortable with sending emails, doing follow-up calls, and keeping organized
- Must speak fluent English and have your own transportation
- Can work independently, but willing to keep us in the loop using a simple CRM (like Zoho)
Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for finding your own leads, pitching our services, and following up with potential clients. We’ll provide you with helpful materials, guidance, and even some lead suggestions to help you get started. You’re not totally on your own — but we do need someone who can hit the ground running and represent us well.
Requirements
Applicants should have 1–3 years of sales experience (preferably outside or B2B), be self-motivated, and comfortable with commission-only compensation. Strong communication skills, a charismatic personality, and the ability to build trust with small business owners are key. Reliable transportation is required, as in-person visits are part of the role. Familiarity with CRM tools (like Zoho) is helpful, and being well-connected in the local business community is a plus.
